AOTC-focused with Mythic ambitions — without the burnout.
We take raiding seriously, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. Real life always comes first — that's not just a motto, it's how we operate.
Undertuned is a guild for skilled players who want to push endgame content without sacrificing their sanity. We're currently 3/8 Mythic and growing.
High priority: Druid (any spec), Demon Hunter, and ranged DPS
Please review our guidelines before applying.
Absolutely no predatory, abusive, sexist, or racist comments or remarks will be tolerated. Violators will be kicked and banned from the guild/server. This server is intended for an 18+ audience so swearing and the like are fine, but please keep it tasteful.
Avoid spamming chat or voice channels with off-topic chatter/clutter.
Be kind and respectful to others. Use common sense when interacting in-game and on Discord.
Please use common sense and be respectful when running any kind of guild content or when interacting with players (both guildies and non-guildies alike).
Officers have full discretion to add or remove anyone for any reason. This may be for violating a Guild rule described here or violating a social rule put in place by Blizzard in WoW. Other reasons may include removing inactive members from the guild in-game or more.
Important: Some of our members currently work in the military and as such have restrictions on who they are allowed to interact with. To circumvent this, please do NOT disclose where you are from, what nationality you are, where you are currently located, or anything similar. If you disclose any of the above, we will have to kick you from the guild and from Discord.
Undertuned is currently progging Mythic. Mythic roster has a requirement of 20 players. Any player interested in joining the Mythic progression team must review the rules and requirements below.
All Guild in-game and Discord Rules apply in Raid. Fun and friendly banter is allowed, but please use common sense when interacting with others.
Comms are to be completely clear during fight explanations and during boss fights. We need to be able to hear callouts during fights, so please keep all unrelated conversations to a minimum.
Raiding is a "team sport" - meaning that everyone's individual preparedness impacts the overall success or struggles of the group. You are required to properly prepare for raid by:
All Raiders are expected to actively gear the character they will be playing. The current ilvl requirement for TWW S3 Mythic MFO is 705. Heroic is 685.
Attendance sign-ups are mandatory. Failure to sign-up before the start of the raid will drop you to the bottom of the invitation priority list. The attendance sheet is posted five days in advance (Sunday and Monday nights).
All Raiders are expected to be on time for the raids they sign up for. Invites will go out 15 minutes prior to the start of raid, with last invites going out 5 minutes before start time.
All Raiders are expected to be in Discord, use required WeakAuras, and use either DBM or BigWigs.
While Undertuned will never bench a player for a "bad parse", there will be times when a specific individual mechanic can interrupt the progression of the overall group. In these situations, the Raid Leader and/or Officers will reach out directly and offer recommendations/tips.
A boss is no longer classified as a "progression" encounter if it meets the following conditions:
Roster changes may occur between weeks, between raid days, or during breaks. Swaps will not take place at any other time unless under exceptional circumstances.
Performance will be evaluated on a weekly basis. The goal is to accommodate as many players as possible who meet the stated requirements and are interested in Mythic raiding.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), listed in order of priority:
If a PUG is filling for a late guild member, they will be notified that they are filling a guild spot until the guild member is capable of joining. The guild member will get their slot regardless of how the PUG is performing.
PUGs are welcome to roll on loot in the same vein as guild raiders.
You will be informed no later than Tuesday if you will be sat for progression. The officer providing feedback will be explicit as to why. This does not preclude any individual from re-trialing for a spot back in the main roster.
If an individual is going to be late and has informed the officers ahead of time, the spot will be filled with a PUG. Roster swaps will be done within 15 minutes of break time or between boss kills.
The officers strongly encourage players to main the class or spec they enjoy most, as that is typically where they will perform their best. Players who are asked or volunteer to switch classes will have their performance evaluated fairly.
Performance is subjective.
Undertuned has a strong team of officers with diverse perspectives, and this variety is what makes the leadership core effective. No single officer evaluates performance alone—every review, whether during or after the raid, involves multiple viewpoints.
It's easy to fall into the trap of "big numbers = good" and "small numbers = bad," but Mythic encounters often require players to perform specialized tasks that may lower their visible output. A player handling such a role might appear to have low damage, yet their contribution could be the difference between a boss kill and a wipe. These efforts are always recognized, and the officers focus on making the necessary improvements while avoiding unnecessary sacrifices to progression.
The goal is to foster an environment where players look forward to raiding together—not one where it feels like we are "carrying" a player, nor one where it feels like a constant retrial just to keep their spot.
Personal Loot as a system no longer exists within WoW. Feel free to roll on items that you need. However, please show some common courtesy to the rest of the group should you win more than one or two items. We want to share the love from RNGesus as much as possible.
BOEs? Congrats on your gold! Feel free to make a donation to the guild if you're feeling charitable.
Think you'd be a good fit? We're always looking for skilled players who value teamwork and a positive attitude. We'd love to hear from you.
